Welcome to ChemPharmaPat's website. ChemPharmaPat is a small, highly detailed and thorough patent search service operated by myself, Bradley R. Roberts. I'm a chemist and former pharmacist with extensive and tailored information science knowledge to encompass the array of new and prior patent art present in the chemical, pharmaceutical, biotechnological and life sciences.

After overseeing the chemical art search unit of a large Crystal City (just before the move to Alexandria), Virginia patent search firm for 6 years (1998-2004), I chose to start ChemPharmaPat- a comprehensive patent search service specifically dedicated to the chemical, pharmaceutical, biotechnological and life sciences.

ChemPharmaPat is advantageously located near the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). This close proximity is used to benefit all by allowing direct in-person consulting of Primary USPTO Patent Examiners in the relevant art units and access to the Patent Examiners' database system at the USPTO.

All searches are performed both manually, at the USPTO's EAST database system (located in Alexandria Va.) and electronically, through searching select database accounts in-house at ChemPharmaPat. Database and tool utilization include Delphion-Derwent, Dialog, ChemOffice Ultra, STN (latest 8.x analysis Edition), and other search, query preparation and analytical software tools. These extra database accounts and search tools are utilized to help provide the best search possible; and to which also serves as an additional integrity check.
